![]() This aircraft was built at WNF as a Bf109G-4, WrkNr 19456 that was delivered to JG27. After being damaged in a bombing raid on Trapani airfield it underwent repairs and was converted into a G-6 in May 1943, although the spoked mainwheels and retractable tailwheel was kept. The aircraft was then delivered to JG54 where it got a heavy mottling of RLM71 and RLM70 as well as the typical yellow fuselageband. It was the last Kommodoremachine flown by Trautloft before he was made part of the Staff of the General der Jagdflieger by Adolf Galland.
